What I learned about simulation through this course is simulation generally refers to a computerized version of the model which is run over time to study the implications of the defined interactions. Simulations are generally iterative in there development. One develops a model, simulates it, learns from the simulation, revises the model, and continues the iterations until an adequate level of understanding is developed.
Modeling and Simulation is a discipline, it is also very much an art form. One can learn about riding a bicycle from reading a book. To really learn to ride a bicycle one must become actively engaged with a bicycle. Modeling and Simulation follows much the same reality. You can learn much about modeling and simulation from reading books and talking with other people. Skill and talent in developing models and performing simulations is only developed through the building of models and simulating them. It's very much a learn as you go process. From the interaction of the developer and the models emerges an understanding of what makes sense and what doesn't.
I am repeatedly amazed at the ability of my models to point out my own ignorance. Through the activity of developing the model and then simulating it, the simulation says, "Based on your model and your set of assumptions, reality is absurd!" Often times the model is grossly incorrect, and other times the model produces great leaps in my understanding of how things actually work, and, quite often contrary to common sense. It is an amazingly wonderful journey my models and I are undertaking. I hope there will be more interactive modelling and simulation will be created in the future.

Experiment Physic (Ohm's Law)
For our experiment, we choose Ohm's Law to show that the useful of Data Logger. Come and let see how we conduct our experiment. This is just the front page.

There are 3 graph and table of 3 types of resistance that we used.
Using 3 different resistance value, we can see different light intensity produced by the bulb.
We are moving toward "go green" we have to save our planet. Therefore go for LED lamp!!

About ICT
This is my 5th semester where this semester I've registered the Information and Communication Technology in Science (SSI 3013). This course is conducted by Associate Professor Dr Sopia Md Yassin. The instructor of this course is Cik Suziati Ibrahim. She conducts during practical season as she is semester 8 student. For the first time I attend this class, I thought this course only cover about the use of internet. However I was wrong. This course covered everything which can help a teacher in their lecture. This course is totally new to me. I was exposed to C++ programme before this. C++ programme is different in a way that we have to construct our own programme. In this ICT course, I learn about new software like Interactive White Board (IWB), data logging, simulation and modelling, and E-Portfolio. Every presentation in the class, we have to use IWB. Before I entered the class, I did some preparation on how to use IWB. Youtube help me a lot in the process to get know IWB. For this course, our E-Portfolio is very important as the lecturer is going to value our works through E-portfolio. We are exposed to Data Logger where the traditional method of gathering data is replaced with the help of Data Logger. I hope by taking this course I can educate others in the future. I hope I can be a modern and all rounded with technology in the future.
About IWB
What is IWB? Before I entered this class, I never use IWB. I was worried if I cannot use the IWB software because IWB seem so new to me. Because of that, I used to explore on how to use IWB, how it works and how I can make my presentation more attractive using the IWB. IWB is more attractive than Power Point. IWB is the shortform of Interactive White Board. For the first time I saw IWB, I never know that we can just touch the screen to excess our laptop/ computer. However, we have to calibrate the IWB before we want to start use it. It is because, IWB is very sensitive. If we move the IWB, we have to calibrate the IWB again. Today, I get more familiar to IWB as all the presentations are conducted using IWB. I believe that not all school will have an opportunity to have IWB because it is very expensive. But I hope one day, all school will be provided with IWB because IWB can make our learning more attractive and enjoyable.
